The Company came to life through the meeting of dancers / choreographers Federica Tardito and Aldo Rendina‚ that arrive from a recognized professional experience as performers with choreographers like Raffaella Giordano‚ Giorgio Rossi‚ Roberto Castello‚ Anna Sagna‚ Claude Coldy‚ Georges Appaix and Hervé Diasnas.

They are united by features of both artistic and formative experience: a past of professional nomadism and‚ most of all‚ the will to confront themselves with authors creations.

Gonzago’s Rose was created in 1999‚ with the support of Associazione Sosta Palmizi / MiBAC; it’s a duo in which dance language embraces theatre language‚ colouring with irony and tragicalness a crackling love story. It suddenly became a little cult show‚ invited in many festivals in Italy and abroad.

After other distinct experiences with different artists‚ as Pierre Byland‚ Gianni Amelio‚ Sandro Carnino and Louis Nero‚ the artistic fellowship consolidated in a new project‚ which first title was Creazione. The show‚ co-produced by Torino Danza and Drodesera > Centrale Fies‚ went on stage for the first time in 2004 inside Focus 6 (Torino Danza). The show‚ with the final title Circhio Lume‚ confirms‚ both for artistic quality and audience support‚ the Company rigour in the research of its language. The show went frequently on stage in festivals and theatres‚ such as Drodesera > Centrale Fies‚ Volterrateatro‚ Teatro Kismet Opera‚ Dansem / Theatre Massalia.

In 2007 they started the Associazione Culturale Kado‚ to operate in education (organization and diffusion of workshops and classes) and to create new networks‚ mainly abroad (between September and October 2009 the Company was in Uruguay and Brazil with the show Circhio Lume and with the workshop Il ridicolo del dramma).

In March 2008 the Company presents‚ in Spazi per la Danza Contemporanea 2008 (Cavallerizza Reale - Torino)‚ an extract of the new show “Oh Heaven” (il Paradiso Possibile)‚ which preview went on stage at Tracce di Teatro d’Autore and which opening was presented in Volterrateatro. The show is co-produced by Associazione Sosta Palmizi / MiBAC‚ Tracce di Teatro d’Autore‚ VolterraTeatro‚ Regione Piemonte and Associazione Kado.

By the end of 2010‚ Il Compito. Co-productions: Regione Piemonte‚ Associazione Sosta Palmizi / MiBAC‚ Festival Interplay‚ Arti Vive Habitat‚ Associazione Kado.

They also create performances and events for urban spaces: Scherzi ad Harte‚ In & Out‚ Tadito for you‚ Lena‚ "Oh Heaven” (il Paradiso sotto). At the same time the Company conducts a pedagogical activity with the aim of deepening and diffusing the pleasure to observe ourselves dramatic and discovering to be ridiculous.

Federica Tardito and Aldo Rendina are associated to Associazione Sosta Palmizi.
